Our Laccio minimalist Around the Leather Portfolio Journal is simplicity at its finest. The journal is made entirely by hand, with a simple handcrafted finish that makes each unique. Exposed elastic stitch along the spine adds a design element while also securing the pages. Natural, oiled leather is lightly distressed, and is meant to age with you, acquiring the patina of frequent use.
The cover is handmade from full grain vegetable leather. And hand dyed with an antique finish to give it a well-travelled patina. Because we upcycle 100% real hides, each journal vary slightly. Some journals will have wrinkles slight scuffs. The colour of the journal may look different on monitors and devices.

Laccio - A6 Journal
Dimensions: Cover - 15.5 x 12 cm (closed); Refill- 14 x 10.5 cm (A6)
Leather: Full grain, vegetable tanned, environmentally friendly pull-ups leather from BonyyM, Bangladesh.
Thread: Coloured heavy gauge waxed thread from Galaces.
Finish: Hand cut, hand-stitched, bevelled, burnished and packaged in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Considerations: The leather will feel stiff at first but with use it will soften and conform to hold its contents snugly. As such you can gradually increase capacity but not decrease it.
Engraving: For bold inscriptions, pick a lighter leather colour. The darker the leather, the more subtle the engraving. (Name Engraving extra 300BDT charge will be added.)
Delivery time: It takes a few days to hand make each product to order but this ensures every item is one of a kind and nothing goes to waste. We aim to dispatch all orders within five/ten working days and often a lot sooner.
